(Hosmer) Marcotte PORTSMOUTH - Marion L. (Hosmer) Marcotte died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2001, in Portsmouth. The beloved wife of the late Leo A. Marcotte, she was born in Manchester and has been a resident of Portsmouth since 1935. She was a top-rated dealer and sales manager for Stanley Home Products in the Seacoast Area for almost 50 years. Prior to that she sold women's head apparel at Marden's Millinery in the Square in downtown Portsmouth. She was a daily communicant at Immaculate Conception Parish. She loved to cook and was skilled in the art of making afghans. She leaves two surviving children, Ronald L. Marcotte of Weymouth, Mass., and Carol A. McCormack of Naperville, Ill.; as well as six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Richard A. Marcotte. MARCOTTE - Marion L. Marcotte, formerly of 558 Union St., Portsmouth, died Jan. 24, 2001. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the Immaculate Conception Church. Visiting hours are from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Farrell Funeral Home, 684 State St., Portsmouth. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
