Currier NORTHWOOD - Nancy R. Currier, 50, of Northwood, died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. Born Sept. 9, 1950, she grew up in Kittery, Maine, and was the daughter of Robert and Marion (Watterson) Hunkins. She lived in the Northwood area most of her adult life and very much enjoyed the outdoors, including snowmobiling, swimming, gardening and bird-watching. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, James (Deke) Currier of Northwood; a son, Michael Williams and his wife, Angie, of Somersworth; stepdaughter, Angela Currier and her son, Zachary, of Nottingham; stepdaughter, Danae Currier, and her sons, Jeremiah and Eric, of Sanford, Maine; stepson, Ernest Currier of Sanford, Maine; her parents, Robert and Marion Hunkins of Kittery, Maine; brothers, Christopher Hunkins of Sturbridge, Mass., and Richard Hunkins of Sedalia, Mo.; a sister, Cathy McKeel of South Berwick, Maine; sisters-in-law, Jean Parsley, Judy Mandigo and Corliss Elliot; brother-in-law, William Currier; many nieces and nephews; and a number of close friends. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law Nancy Quintal. CURRIER - Nancy R. Currier, 50, of Northwood, died Jan. 25, 2001. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of the Rockingham County Nursing Home, 117 North Road, Brentwood. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice, or to the Multiple Sclerosis Fund.
