Bourque AMESBURY, Mass. - Raoul E. Bourque, 80, of 59 High St., died early Tuesday morning at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport following a long illness. He was the husband of Lucina M. (Gallagher) Bourque, to whom he had been married 60 years on Oct. 13, 2000. Born in Amesbury on July 1, 1920, he was the son of the late Camille and Alma (Auffrey) Bourque and attended Amesbury High School. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II as an electrician. A self-employed electrician, he was the wiring inspector for the Town of Amesbury for many years. He was a member and former president of the Polish National Alliance of Amesbury. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Patricia F. Grandmaison, and her husband, John, of Hampton, N.H., Joanne M. DeOliveira, and her husband, David, of Framingham, and Mary L. Gibbens, and her late husband, Peter, of Amesbury; nine grandchildren, Lynn Grandmaison of Amesbury, Susan Cestone, and her husband, Michael, and Jacqueline Grandmaison, all of Hampton, N.H., Mark DeOliveira, and his wife, Michele, of Upton, Brian and Christine DeOliveira, both of Framingham, Robert Gibbens of Maui, Hawaii, Michelle Kelleher, and her husband, James, of Amesbury, Kathleen Babine, and her husband, Robert, of Exeter, N.H.; five great-grandchildren, Mikael, Nikole, Sydney, Emma and Jackson; one brother, Mike Bourque, and his wife, Jan, of Amesbury; and several nieces and nephews. Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Ave., Amesbury, followed at 11 a.m. by a funeral mass at Holy Family Parish's St. Joseph's Church, Sparhawk Street, Amesbury. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Amesbury. Calling hours will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Ave., Amesbury, followed at 11 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church, Sparhawk St., Amesbury. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amesbury.
