Keenan STORRS, Conn. - Roland H. Keenan, 81, of Storrs, formerly of Portsmouth, N.H., died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2001, at the Windham Hospital in Willimantic. Born in Melvin Village, May 12, 1919, he was the son of Henry and Amy (Merifield) Keenan and had been a resident of Connecticut for more than 40 years. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army Air Corps. He was a member for more than 25 years of the Carpenter's Local Union No. 30, affiliated with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners. He was a life member of the VFW in Willimantic. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Anita (Jutras) Keenan; a daughter, Shirley Beyor and her husband Rick of Tolland; a son, Thomas Keenan and his wife Sherry of Mystic and Florida; four grandchildren, Stacey Beyor, Christopher Beyor, Tami Keenan and Kristina Keenan; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Lillian Pollini of Wolfeboro, N.H. KEENAN - Roland H. Keenan, 81, of Storrs, Conn., formerly of Portsmouth, died Jan. 17, 2001.
