Roberge GREENLAND - Robert S. Roberge, 64, the husband of Barbara (Reed) Roberge of 304 Post Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2001, at his home. Born in Saco, Maine, on Feb. 8, 1936, he was the son of the late Ernest and Josephine (Krajewski) Roberge. He was a graduate of Thornton Academy in Saco, Maine, Class of 1953. He served in the United States Army Reserves. He was formerly employed as a manager for Diamond National Building Material Co., as a sales representative for Bostitch -- division of Textron, and prior to his retirement was employed as a toll collector for the New Hampshire Turnpike Authority. Besides his wife of more than 40 years, survivors include his siblings, Pauline Weiss of Center Harbor, N.H.; Ernest Roberge Jr. of North Waterboro, Maine; and Mary Lou Connolly of Chicago; and several nieces and nephews. A brother, Francis Roberge, predeceased him. ROBERGE - Robert S. Roberge, 64, of 304 Post Road, Greenland, died Jan. 23, 2001. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Michael Church, 9 Lincoln St., Exeter. Friends invited. Visiting hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today (Thursday) at the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel, 84 Broad St., Portsmouth, with wake services at 6 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations in his memory may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o St. Michael Church, 9 Lincoln St., Exeter, NH 03833. Robert S. Roberge GREENLAND - Funeral services for Robert S. Roberge, 64, of 304 Post Road, were held Friday from the J. Verne Wood Funeral Home-Buckminster Chapel, with a Mass of Christian burial at St. Michael's Church in Exeter. Father Marc Drouin, pastor, was celebrant. Draping of the pall was by his wife, Barbara (Reed) Roberge, and sisters, Pauline Weiss and Mary Lou Connolly. Altar servers were Al Markey, Raymond Russell and Ted Clamarczyk. Presentation of the gifts was by Thomas and Lucille Reed. Soloist was John Kelly. Denise Kelly was organist. In attendance were communicants of the church and representatives from the N.H. Turnpike Authority. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Portsmouth, with committal services by Father Drouin. The American flag that draped the casket was presented to his widow. Bearers were Fred Serna, David Oscar Reed, Edward Heath, Leonard Novak, Lee Powers and Robert Reed.
