Mazur NEWMARKET - Stefie H. Mazur, 83, of Maplecrest, died Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2001, at her home after a brief illness. She was born April 2, 1917, in Newmarket, the daughter of John A. and Stephania (Bajorek) Pelczar and was a lifelong resident of Newmarket. Mrs. Mazur attended the Church of St. Thomas More, Durham, and St. Catherine of Siena Church in Portsmouth. She enjoyed the beach, reading, yard work, sitting on her porch and her family. The widow of John Mazur, who died in 1989, She is survived by two sons, Robert Mazur of Dover and Edward Mazur and his wife Sheryl of Omaha, Neb.; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda and Jeffrey Miller of Bow, Kathleen and Greg Thayer of Newmarket and Dawn Mazur of Newmarket; two grandchildren; one brother, Lewis Pelczar of Newmarket; two sisters, Beneda Gielar of Newmarket and Lillian Richmond of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Bernard Pelczar, who died in 1999. There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Newmarket, with Msgr. Lawrence Burns as celebrant. Spring burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Newmarket. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the N.H. Heart Association, 20 Merrimack St., Suite 1, Manchester, NH 03101-2244. Assistance with the arrangements is by the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home Newmarket.
