Albert Grappone 

CONCORD - Albert Grappone, 87, of Pleasant Street, died Thursday,
Feb. 22, 2001, at Concord Hospice House. 

He was born in Concord the son of Rocco and Emanuella (D'Orlando)
Grappone and lived in Exeter for more than 60 years. 

He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a 2nd class
motor mechanic in the 1022 Seabee detachment. 

Mr. Grappone was a mechanic and owned and operated Exeter Pontiac
and Exeter Sand and Gravel and was part owner of Grappone
Automotive in Concord. 

The widower of Ann (Cozzi) Grappone, who died in 1991, he is survived
by one brother, John Grappone of Concord; and several nieces and
nephews. 

He was predeceased by two brothers, James V. Grappone and Robert M.
Grappone; and three sisters, Helen Ceriello, Philamina Simmonella and
Rose Monacella. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10 a.m. in St.
Peter's Church, 135 North State St., Concord. 

Memorial donations may be made to Concord Hospice House, P.O. Box
1797, Concord, NH 03302-1797 or to the charity of one's choice. 

Arrangements are by the Waters Funeral Home, Concord.
