Kenison JEFFERSON - Brody James Kenison, 15, son of Terry and Diana Lewis Kenison, died on Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, from injuries sustained while driving his snowmachine. He is survived by his brothers, Ben and Brett Kenison, both of Jefferson; his best buddy, his dog, Tanner; his maternal grandmother, Muriel Lewis of Colebrook; paternal grandfather Clayton Hicks of Jefferson; aunts, uncles and cousins. Brody was a freshman at White Mountains Regional High School and played trumpet in the band. School was not his favorite place to be and he was happy and excited to be on vacation. On the morning of his death he had said goodbye and "I love you, Mom" and had gone for what was to be his last ride. Body loved being outdoors, working on machines, fishing, and hunting. He received the N.H. Big Game Trophy Award for his first deer. He also enjoyed walking in the woods with his dog and snowmachining. He had an impish grin and a dry sense of humor that got him both in and out of trouble. The room came alive when he entered it with his size 12 feet. Brody was a great help to his dad and enjoyed "talking shop" with him. Every spring he would pick the first flowers of the season and give them to his mom. He loved life and touched a lot of people in his short time here. Brody will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and heaven has a new angel. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday afternoon and evening, Feb. 28, from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. at the Bailey Funeral Home, Lancaster. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church in Lancaster. The Rev. John Mazzei, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in the Kilkenny View Cemetery, Jefferson. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall at All Saints Church, Lancaster. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in his memory to any of the following organizations: The Lancaster Ambulance Association, c/o Ron Wert, 25 Main St., Lancaster; Jefferson Fast Squad, c/o Larry Coulter, 44-3 Abigail Circle, Jefferson, NH 03583; or the Lancaster Humane Society, Martin Meadow Pond Road, Lancaster, NH 03584. **************************************************************************** * * * * Notice: Printing the files within by non-commercial individuals and libraries is encouraged, as long as all notices and submitter information is included.
