Guilfoil GROTON, Conn. - Catherine "Kay" M. Guilfoil of 390 Long Hill Road, died Tuesday afternoon at her residence. She was born in Dover, N.H., the daughter of Charles and Gladys Hendrickson McCoole. She married Kenneth V. Guilfoil on Aug. 26, 1950, in Portsmouth, N.H. For many years she was the office manager of MacLaughlin Accounting in New London, Conn. She then went into partnership with her husband at Associate Planning Services in Groton. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Groton and the National Association of Tax Professionals. Besides her husband, she is survived by two brothers, Raymond McCoole of Chester, N.H., and John O'Brien of Kittery, Maine; two sisters, Shirley Mattingly of Portsmouth, N.H., and Marilyn Bunkley of Brunswick, Ga.; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Michael V. Guilfoil, and a sister, Patricia McCoole. GUILFOIL - Catherine "Kay" M. Guilfoil of Groton, Conn., died on Feb. 13, 2001. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Sacred Heart Church, Sacred Heart Drive, Groton. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Norwich, Conn.
