Parks LYNDONVILLE, Vt. - Dean A. Parks, of Route 5 in Lyndonville, Vt. died at Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital in St. Johnsbury on Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, after a relatively short illness. He was born in Concord, Vt. on June 9, 1935, the son of Myron and Bertha (Bishop) Parks. For the past 10 years, Mr. Parks was employed at FCI Burndy Electrical in Littleton and worked there up until Nov. 30 of last year. For 26 years he was employed in Nashua by Brown Products, manufacturers of corrugated packaging products. He loved to hunt and fish and was a supporter of his lifelong church, the East Concord United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Comeau) Parks; six children, Eleanor Frechette of Lunenburg, Vt., Brian Parks of Dalton, Pamela Parks of Hudson, Dean Parks Jr. of Nashua, Michelle Miller of Metheun, Mass., and Karen Brown of Hudson; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Foster Parks of St. Johnsbury and Martin Parks of St. Johnsbury; four sisters, Bea Dennen of Melrose, Mass., Natalie Hayden of Somerville, Mass., Millie Suitor of Whitefield and Cecile Newell of Nashua, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Izalee Jacques and Hilda Placey; and by three brothers, Howard, Lester and Leeton. Funeral services were held in St. Johnsbury on Tuesday at Sayles Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerry Piper officiated. Committal services and burial will be in May at the Riverside Cemetery in South Lunenburg.
