Dubay TAMPA, Fla. - Emily M. Dubay, 78, formerly of Kittery, Maine, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. She was born Aug. 14, 1922, in Caribou, Maine, daughter of the late George and Rose Marie (Dube) Lovejoy. She attended local schools and later married and moved to Kittery, where she was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed arts and crafts and spent many hours sewing as well as baking and cooking. She married Albert Dubay in 1941 in Van Buren, Maine. He predeceased her in April of 1998. In October of 1998 she moved from Kittery and resided in Tampa. She later moved in with her son, Emile J. Dubay of Tampa. Besides her son, she is survived by her five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her two sisters, Alice Lovejoy-Sousy and Gladys Lovejoy-Foss. DUBAY - Emily Dubay, 78, of Tampa, Fla., and formerly of Kittery, Maine, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Kittery, with the Rev. Real Nadeau celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial. A graveside committal service and the burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Portsmouth. Visitation hours will be 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday at the Wilson-Cooper Funeral Home, 21 Rogers Road, Kittery. Emily Dubay KITTERY, Maine - Funeral services for Emily Dubay who died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, in Tampa, Fla., were held Wednesday morning at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, Kittery. The Rev. Real Nadeau celebrated the Mass of Christian burial. Nancy Jones was the organist. Music was also provided by the St. Raphael's church choir. Philip Sousa was the acolyte. A graveside committal service was held at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel with the Rev. Nadeau reciting committal prayers. Burial followed in the family lot. Bearers were Craig Dubay, Robert Strout, Lewis Johnson and John Stadig. The Rev. Nadeau offered prayers during the Catholic vigil service on Tuesday evening at the Wilson-Cooper Funeral Home, Kittery.
