Harrigan, Publisher (Feb 28, 2001 -issue) "All the news that fits" FORMATTED: by CParziale, Feb 2001 ***************************************************************************** ELSIE POUPART GILBERT ENMAN Elsie Poupart Gilbert Enman, 66, of Stewartstown, died early on February 26, 2001, at the Coös County Nursing Hospital in West Stewartstown after a long illness. Born on February 13, 1934 in North Stratford, she was the daughter of Norman and Carrie (Woods) Enman. She attended school in Stewartstown. Mrs. Enman worked in local factories for most of her life. She enjoyed puzzles and dancing, and always liked to laugh and joke with everyone she met. She is survived by three sons, Edward and James Gilbert, both of West Stewartstown, and David Gilbert of Pittsburg; three daughters, Mrs. Mike (Jean) Vachon of Columbia, Mrs. Donald (Vickie) Couture of Hooksett and Mrs. Ben (Debbie) Houle of Canaan; four sisters, Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Morton of Littleton, Mrs. Arthur (Joan) Bigalow of Boscawen, Mrs. Roland (Betty) Folson of Boscawen and Mrs. Gene (Josephine) Bonenfan of Suncook; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Sylvia and Minnie, and her husband, George Gilbert. There are no calling hours. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, March 3 at 11 a.m. at St. Albert Church in West Stewartstown. Those who wish to make memorials in Mrs. Enman's name may send their donations to the American Lung Association, 9 Cedarwood Dr., Unit 12, Bedford, NH 03110. Services are under the direction of the Newman Funeral Home in Colebrook.
