Assad HAMPTON - Hazel M. Assad, 73, of 777 Lafayette Road, formerly of Kensington, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at the Partridge House. Born in Portsmouth, Oct. 25, 1927, she was the daughter of the late George and Nancy (Augustine) Tebbetts. She attended Portsmouth schools and was a graduate of Portsmouth High School. She worked for the CBS Hytron Co. in Newburyport and for the Bailey Corp. in Seabrook. She lived in Kensington for 26 years and prior to this in Seabrook, before making her home at the Partridge House since last February. She was the wife of James P. Assad for 51 years. In addition to her husband, family members include, three sons, Peter J. Assad of Ft. Myers, Fla.; David A. Assad of Salisbury, Mass.; Gary M. Assad of Raymond; two daughters, Karen E. Coles of Olympia, Wash.; Nancy D. Rossborough of Cornish Flat; seven grandchildren; two great-grandsons; one sister, Margaret Tebbets of Portsmouth; and several nieces and nephews. ASSAD - Hazel M. Assad, 73, of 777 Lafayette Road, Hampton, formerly of Kensington, died Feb. 6, 2001. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. The family requests there be no visiting hours and flowers please be omitted.
