Helen Tompkins 

WHITEFIELD - Helen Tompkins, 83, of North Street, died on Feb. 5, 2001 while 
in rehabilitation in Manchester.

She was born in East Bridgewater, Mass., the daughter of Emelio and Gelia 
Cecconi. She worked as a wire bonder for Raytheon for 27 years. She loved 
cooking, keeping house, and crocheting. She was a devoted Catholic and a 
parishioner of St. Matthew Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Wilford Tompkins of Whitefield, a son, 
Michael Jacobs, of Londonderry and seven grandchildren.

There are no visiting hours. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on
 Thursday, Feb. 8, at 10 a.m., at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Jefferson 
Road, Whitefield, with Father George officiating.
