Connors EPPING - Joseph J. Connors, 61, of St. Laurent St., died unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, in Bethel, Maine. Born on July 3, 1939, in Freeport, Long Island, N.Y., he was the son of the late William and Katherine (DeGroff) Connors. He moved to Epping after serving in the United States Air Force from 1958 to 1961. He coached Little League baseball in Epping for many years and also contributed to the construction of the original high school baseball field and the field at the Mary Folsom Blair Park in Epping. He worked in the shipping and receiving department at United Machine & Tool Design Company Inc., in Fremont, for many years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anne (Janelle) Connors of Epping; two sons, Michael Connors of Fremont, and Daniel Connors of Hampton; one daughter, Julie Callahan of Plainville, Conn.; and one grandchild. CONNORS - Joseph J. Connors, 61, died on Monday, Feb. 5, 2001. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 8 Pleasant St., Epping. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. The Rev. Wayne VanGundy will officiate the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Heart Association, N.H.
