Ralph Nesbitt SEABROOK - J. Ralph Nesbitt, 85, of 29 Tricia St., died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, in Exeter Hospital. He was born Aug. 16, 1915, in Lawrence, Mass., the son of the late George and Martha (Zahn) Nesbitt and had resided in Seabrook since 1981. He was educated in Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lowell Technical Institute. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Mr. Nesbitt was a pattern weaver in the woolen mills in Methuen, Mass., and retired from Davis & Furber Foundry in 1981. Following his retirement he worked in the security department at Merrimack College until 1991. He was a communicant of St. Monica Church while living in Methuen and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Greenwood Post No. 8349 of Methuen. He is survived by one sister, Ruth B. Nesbitt of Seabrook; three nephews; and several cousins. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Star of the Sea Church, 18 Beach Road, Salisbury, Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Star of the Sea Church, 18 Beach Road, Salisbury, MA 01952.
