Wicker CHESTER, Va. - Lillian G. Wicker, 80, of Rivers Bend Circle, formerly of Exeter Mill Apartments, Exeter, died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, in John Randolph Hospital, Hopewell, Va. She was born July 17, 1920, in Brockton, Mass., the daughter of the late Sidney and Ola (Geilear) Cowell and was a longtime resident of the Plaistow-Kingston area. Mrs. Wicker owned and operated the Lilac & Lace Gift Shop in Exeter for several years. She was also the head bookkeeper at Western Electric in Andover, Mass. She was a communicant of Holy Angel Church, Plaistow. The widow of George W. Wicker, she is survived by one brother, James P. Cowell of Kingston Springs, Tenn.; and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11 a.m. in Holy Angel Church, Plaistow. Spring burial will be in Holy Angel Cemetery, Plaistow.
