Johnson EXETER - Margaret O. Johnson, 90, of 17 Hampton Road, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2001, in Exeter Hospital. She was born Dec. 15, 1910, in Danvers, Mass., the daughter of the late Daniel J. and Sarah E. (Walsh) Johnson. She resided in Salem, Mass., for many years before moving to St. Petersburg, Fla., in 1970. She had summered in Hampton since 1957 and returned to live in Exeter in 1996. Miss Johnson was an operator for the former New England Telephone Co. for 47 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She is survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Weinhold of Exeter and Sally Wholley of Brentwood; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton.
