Cottrell EXETER - Phyllis D. Cottrell, 77, of 187B Front St., died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001, at her home. A lifelong resident of Exeter, she was born on Feb. 15, 1923, the daughter of the late Harold S. and Dera (Babb) Smith. She was a graduate of the Robinson Female Seminary. A homemaker, she was a member of the First Baptist Church, Exeter, and a member of the VFW #2181 of the Exeter Ladies Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was the wife of Warren E. Cottrell for 60 years. In addition to her husband, family members include one son, Robert W. Cottrell of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Linda L. MacNeill of Brentwood and Cynthia A. McGinnis of Sanford, Fla.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert F. Smith of Exeter; and several nieces and nephews. COTTRELL - Phyllis D. Cottrell, of 187B Front St., Exeter, died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the First Baptist Church, 2 Spring St., Exeter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Private burial will be in the Exeter Cemetery. The family requests no visiting hours and that flowers please be omitted. If desired, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 2 Spring St., Exeter, NH 03833. Arrangements are by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter. Phyllis D. Cottrell EXETER - The funeral for Phyllis D. Cottrell, 77, of 187 Front St., Exeter, was held Friday from the Stockbridge Funeral Home. Services were held at the First Baptist Church in Exeter. The Rev. Jamie S. Moynihan officiated. Organist was Warren Adams. Ushers were Scotty Lees and John Dow. Words of remembrance were offered by Mrs. Cottrell's children, Robert W. Cottrell and Cynthia A. McGinnis. Private burial was in the Exeter Cemetery with committal prayers by the Rev.
