Kenison CAPE NEDDICK, Me. - Paul F. Kenison,72, a resident of Libby Lane in Cape Neddick, died on Feb. 18, 2001 at the York Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Kenison was born in Jefferson on July 22, 1928, a son of Frank James and Alice Mary (Blair) Kenison. He attended local schools in Jefferson and Lancaster. He was a World War II and Korean veteran who served in the Marine Corps as a sergeant. He resided in Ogunquit, Me. for two years before moving to Wells, Me. and Cape Neddick. Mr. Kenison was employed by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in the Supply Department for 28 years. He retired several years ago. After his retirement he volunteered at the York Hospital for seven years. He was member of the First Parish Congregational Church in York, a life member and past master of the Ocean Lodge #142 of Wells, Scottish Rite 32 degree Masons of Portland, Me., the Kora Temple of Lewiston, Me., the York County Shrine Club, the Broadman-Ellis V.F.W. Post #6977 of York, American Legion Post #82 of Gorham, the York Elks #2788 of York and the Madonna Chapter of West Kennebunk, Me. He loved deer hunting. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Marie Hannaford Kenison, who died in 1990. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Catherine Emmons of Plaistow, Mrs. Paula Lucas of Bow and Mrs. Lisa Monroe of Sanford, Me.; a sister, Evelyn K. Smith, of Lancaster; and four grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Bibber Memorial Chapel 111 Chapel Road, Wells, Me. where a Masonic services will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Chapel. A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at the Bibber Memorial Chapel with the Revs. Richard Knight and Linda Hearst officiating. Burial will be held at noon on Friday in Starr King Cemetery in Jefferson. Memorial donations may be made to the Ocean Lodge Scholarship Fund MCF c/o The Grand Secretary P.O.
