Desjardins PORTSMOUTH - Raymond J. Desjardins, 36, of 199 McDonough St., died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, in North Hampton. Born in Portsmouth on June 27, 1964, he was the son of Patricia (Locke) Desjardins and the late Roland Desjardins. He attended Portsmouth schools and graduated from Portsmouth High School, class of 1982. He loved and enjoyed outdoor activities: hiking, snowmobiling, motorcross, and was a very good pool player, even with only one arm. He was known around the Seacoast as the one-arm-bandit pool player. He also loved spending time with his two nieces, and gave them so much love and laughter. Besides his mother, survivors include his stepfather, Stanley Blanchard, of Portsmouth; two sisters, Rolinda Desjardins, of Portsmouth, and Tonya Neihart and her husband, Jon, of Nottingham; two nieces, Samantha Desjardins and Alexa Neihart; his maternal grandfather, Leslie Locke, of Portsmouth; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
