Eldridge KITTERY, Maine - Ruth M. (Shaw) Eldridge, 75, of 137 Martin Road, died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001, at York Hospital. She was born in York, Maine, on May 31, 1925, the daughter of Leslie and Florence (McKay) Shaw, and attended York schools. She had worked as a nurse's aide at area nursing homes for many years. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Earl Eldridge, who died in 1986. She was also predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Ready, and by her granddaughter, Angela R. (Merosola) Wakefield, who died in March 2000. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Merosola, of Kittery; three sons, Gerald Eldridge and his wife, Windy, of Quincy, Mass., George Eldridge, of Richmond, Va., and Ronald Eldridge, of Eliot; one brother, Eugene Shaw and his wife, Alrose, of South Haven, Mich.; eight grandchildren, James M. Eldridge, Christine Eldridge, Joseph Merosola Jr., Kristina Merosola, Jeffrey Eldridge, Jamie Eldridge, Peter Tufts and Michael Tufts; and six great-grandchildren. ELDRIDGE - Ruth M. Eldridge, 75, of 137 Martin Road, Kittery, Maine, widow of Earl Eldridge, died Feb. 13, 2001, in York, Maine. A private service will be held. Arrangements are by J.S.
