Born Feb. 2, 1913, in Boston, she was the daughter of Roy and Florence (Clark) Blaisdell. She had lived in Newmarket for many years. She was a shoe stitcher and had worked in various shoe factories in the area. She was a member of the Newmarket Community Church and a former member of the Newmarket Women's Club. She was the wife of the late Robert Critchett, who died in 1971. Survivors include a stepson, Robert Critchett of Newmarket; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Clifton (Phyllis) Clark and Mrs. Ralph (Shirley) Holmes of Newmarket; and one cousin. CRITCHETT - Virginia Critchett, 88, of Brentwood and formerly of South Main Street, Newmarket, died Feb. 4, 2001. Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter St., Newmarket. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from the funeral home, with the Rev. David Wuori officiating.
