Marshall Sr. EXETER- Arthur T. Marshall Sr., 89, of Garfield Street, died on March 18, 2001, in Exeter Health Care after a lengthy illness. Born in Exeter on Dec. 9, 1911, he was the son of William and Ida (Fortier) Marshall. Mr. Marshall was the founder of Marshall Transportation. In addition, he worked as the company bus mechanic. He was a member of the Bow Lake Association. Mr. Marshall enjoyed fishing, hunting and coin collecting. He was the widower of Helen (Loch) Marshall. He was also predeceased by a son, Joseph J. Marshall. Family members include two sons, A. Thomas Marshall of Northwood, and John Marshall of Errol; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. A private service is planned for today (Wednesday). Burial will be in Exeter Cemetery.
