Helen M. Spencer 

ST. JOHNSBURY - Helen Marie (Prue) Spencer, age 76, died on
Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at the St. Johnsbury Health and
Rehabilitation Center. 

The daughter of Eugene Joseph and Flora (Guyer) Prue, she was born on
Sept. 22, 1924, in St. Johnsbury. 

She worked for several years as a nurse’s aide at the Northfield Hospital. 

Helen is survived by two daughters, Nancy Bartlett of Concord, Vt. and
Sandra Pearson of Lyndonville, Vt.; four grandchildren. 

A memorial service was held on Saturday at Sayles Funeral Home, with
the Rev. Melvin A. Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the spring
at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the
Activities Fund at the St. Johnsbury Health and Rehabilitation Center,
1248 Hospital Dr., St. Johnsbury, VT 05819.
