Desfosses, 63, of Hooksett, died on March 12, 2001 at University Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. Born in Pembroke on February 23, 1938, she was the daughter of Odena (Bertrand) Letendre of Hooksett, and the late Lucien Letendre. She lived the past 15 years in Hooksett. Before retiring in September, Mrs. Desfosses worked as a machine operator for General Electric Company in Hooksett. She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church and a member of the Shrine of St. Irene P. Desfosses, 63, of Hooksett, died on March 12, 2001 at University Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. She was a communicant of Holy Rosary Church and a member of the Shrine of St. Jude Society. Mrs. Desfosses enjoyed painting, handicrafts and animals. She was married to Raymond J. Desfosses, who died November 4, 1988. Family members include a son, Daniel Desfosses of Hooksett; three grandchildren; a great-grandchild; three sisters, Marcelene Talbot of Candia, Pauline Botsford of Pittsburg and Estelle Lambert of Manchester; three brothers, Roger Letendre of Allenstown, Chet Letendre of Pembroke, and Edward Letendre of Hooksett; and nieces and nephews. Calling hours were held on Thursday at Lambert Funeral Home in Manchester. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday at Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
