He was born in Wilton, N.H., the son of Ralph H. and Mildred (Beard) Langevin. Ray was the previous owner and operator of the Pembroke Hill garage in Pembroke for several years. He loved outdoor cooking. He was predeceased by his wife, Esther (LaFleaur) Langevin, in 1987. He is survived by two sons; Ralph Langevin of Gilmanton Iron Works and Allen Langevin of Epsom; two daughters, Donna Pike of Epsom and Lorraine Gamsby of West Stewartstown; five grandchildren, Sheri Langevin of Manchester, Michael and Kristy Gamsby of West Stewartstown, and Brandon and Olivia Langevin of Epsom; and nieces and nephews. Calling hours were held on Monday, March 19 at the Bennett Funeral Home in Concord. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the funeral home. Committal services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Pembroke in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the CRVNA Hospice House, P.O. Box 1797, Concord, NH 03302-1797.
