William Haley 

WHITEFIELD - William "Bud" Haley, 76, of 20 Laurel Street, died
suddenly at his residence on March 28. 2001. 

He was born in Melrose, Mass., son of Frederick and Myrtle (Prentiss)
Haley. 

He moved to the Whitefield area 32 years ago, and was self-employed as
a carpenter and woodworker craftsman. He was a veteran of the Navy,
having served in both World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was a
member of the V.F.W. Post 3041 of Lancaster. He was an avid
motorcycle enthusiast. 

He is survived by a son, William P. Haley of Georgetown, Mass., and
three sisters, Eleanor Anderton of Summerfield, Fla., Barbara Baudreau
of Orange, Calif., and Joan Etz, of Brewster, Mass. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date, time and place to be
announced. The Ross Funeral Home, Whitefield Chapel, is in charge of
