Tewksbury Jr., 80, died on April 26, 2001, in Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, after a brief illness. Born in Brentwood on Dec. 7, 1920, he was the son of Carl H. and Albina (Whitney) Tewksbury. He lived many years in Derry before moving to Dummer in 1988. During World War II, he served in the Army. Before retiring in 1976, Mr. Tewksbury worked for Teamsters Local 633, Manchester. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Hemmingway and Fulton Trucking, Manchester. Mr. Tewksbury was a member of Post 2520, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Berlin. He was married to Eunice I. Tewksbury, who died in 1987. Family members include his wife, Marion F. (Floyd) Tewksbury of Dummer; a stepson, Frank Blanchard of Deering; a step-grandchild; and two brothers, Richard Tewksbury of Laconia, and Angus McIntyre of Auburn. Calling hours were held on Sunday in Peabody Funeral Home, Derry.
