Brigham HUNTINGTON,Vt. - Gordon E. Brigham, 82, of Huntington, died Tuesday, April 3, 2001, in Fletcher Allen Health Care in Burlington. He was born in Northumberland, N.H.,on Sept. 12, 1918, the son of the late Frank and Unice (Willey) Brigham. He married Earline Webster on June 22, 1940, in Lancaster, N.H. He is survived by his wife, Earline Brigham of Huntington; five children, Earle Brigham of Columbus, Ga., Merle Edith Johnston of Milton, Rowena Carrier of Colchester, Frank Brigham of Germany, and Edward Brigham of Lyndonville; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Daphne Pinkham of Whitefield, N.H., and Cynthia Chalifou of Lancaster, N.H. He was predeceased by four sisters. A private graveside service will be held later at the convenience of the family in Maple Wood Cemetery in Huntington. There were no visiting hours. Donations may be made in Gordon’s memory to Richmond Rescue, 177 Railroad St., Richmond, VT 05477.
