Rachel Davis 

BENTON - Rachel Davis, 89, of High Street, died on April 8, 2001, in
Cottage Hospital, Woodsville. 

Born in Jefferson on Aug. 4, 1911, she was the daughter of Dennis and
Rosa Davis. 

Raised in Jefferson, she lived for a time in Boston, Mass. before
returning to Jefferson. She resided in Concord before moving to Benton
in 1985. There are no known family members. 

The funeral is Friday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Glencliff Home for the
Elderly. The Rev. James Borrow, chaplain, will officiate. Burial will be in
Glen Heald Cemetery, Benton. Fournier Funeral Service, North
Woodstock, is in charge of arrangements.
