Harrigan, Publisher "All the news that fits" FORMATTED: by CParziale, June 2001 ***************************************************************************** Jane Dupuis SOMERSWORTH - Jane Dupuis, 76, of Somersworth, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2001, at Rochester Manor after a period of failing health. Jane was born on March 30, 1925, in St. Petersburg, Fla., and was the daughter of Everett and Edith (Hotham) Stone. She was raised in Florida and New Hampshire and graduated from Groveton High School. She and her husband Maurice, were in the hospitality business, owning several restaurants, including the Everett Diner, Wentworth Motel in Woodsville for 12 years and the Townhouse Restaurant in Groveton for seven years. She and her husband moved to the Somersworth and Rochester area in 1983. Family members include her husband of 59 years, Maurice Dupuis of Somersworth; two sons, Douglas Dupuis of Rochester, and George Dupuis of Newport; a daughter, Edith McLaughlin of Ormond, Fla.; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Randall Dupuis, who died in 1984, and by her brothers, David and George Stone. A Mass of Christian burial was held on May 5 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Somersworth with the Rev. Tom Coover officiating. Burial followed in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Rochester.
