Included in the USGenWeb Archives with permission. http://seacoastonline.com David Soucy Trucker, pool player David Soucy, 45 of 440 F Sixth Street, died Wednesday, May 30, 2001 at the New England Medical Center in Boston, Mass. after a long battle with liver disease. Born June 23, 1955 the son of Paul and Beverly Soucy, he was a graduate of Portsmouth High School and has lived in Dover for the past two years. David was a self-employed trucker and a captain of two teams in the APA Pool League. Along with his mother he is survived by his loving wife Silvia Soucy of Dover, three sisters, Catherine Sanner of Maine, Paula Soucy of Massachusetts, and Mary Poala of New Hampshire, two sons Matthew Soucy of Milton and Jonathan Soucy of Milton, two daughters Jennifer Soucy and Kimberly Soucy of Milton, and three step-children Bobbi and Melissa Elliott of Rochester and Jamie Elliott of Newmarket, also several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services were at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Avenue. Burial followed at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Sanbornville, NH. Kathleen E. Leary DAV life member Kathleen E. Leary, 76, of 590 Oak St., Sanford, Maine, formerly of Ash St., Dover, died Thursday May 31,2001. Born in Dover on May 21, 1925 the daughter of James B. and Edith May (Beaulieu) Leighton, she was a graduate of the Dover Schools and the Margaret Grimes School of Cosmetology, and has lived in Dover for most of her life. She formerly worked at the John Lynch Beauty Shop, and later worked for the Kingston Warren Corp. and the Davidson Rubber Co. Kathleen was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Arthur Leary, three daughters Gail Sharron Lodi of Sanford, ME, Deborah Leigh Love of Rochester, Pamela Ann Jacques of Germany, a son James Arthur Leary of Saco, ME, six grandchildren Laurie Corain, Cherene Rix, Frank Carr, Tracy Mantos, Tatum Mantos and Jeremy Jacques and five great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A son Dane Colin Leary who died in 1989 and a sister Evelyn Leighton Crandall predeceased her. Funeral services were from the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave. with The Reverend Robert F. Cole, pastor of St. Joseph Church officiating. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery.
