Permission received to include in the USGenWeb Archives. Annie R. Beckman SEABROOK -- Annie R. Beckman, 89, of Beckman Landing, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, in Exeter Hospital. She was born May 11, 1911, in Seabrook, the daughter of the late Augusta (Perkins) Beckman and the stepdaughter of the late George Beckman. She was a lifelong resident of Seabrook. She was a 1929 graduate of Hampton Academy. Mrs. Beckman worked in the shoe industry for several years. She was a member of Trinity United Church and held many offices in the church. She was a member of the Happy Senior Citizens; co-founder and secretary of the Seabrook Historical Society; and secretary to the Seabrook Recreation Center Building Committee. The widow of Robie M. Beckman, who died in 1985, she is survived by three sons, Robie M. Beckman of Hampton Falls, Hayden C. Beckman Sr. of Raymond and Harrison B. Beckman of Seabrook; three daughters, Mary L. Malcolm of Newburyport, Mass., Jean A. Donahue of Seabrook and Gailanne Beckman-Hawkins of Lancaster, Mass.; 22 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by twin sons, William and Wayne Beckman; two brothers, Ward Beckman and Leo MacDonald; and one grandchild, Cammeron Hawkins. Funeral services were held Thursday in Trinity United Church, Seabrook. Burial was in Elmwood Cemetery, Seabrook. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity United Church, 650 Lafayette Road, Seabrook, N.H. 03870. Arrangements were by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton. Albertine Brideau SEABROOK -- Albertine Brideau, 91, of 4 Whittier Drive, died Sunday, Jan. 28, 2001, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood. She was born Nov. 9, 1909, in Amesbury, Mass., the daughter of the late Napoleon and Odile (LeClair) Hamel and resided in Amesbury for most of her life, moving to Seabrook six years ago. Mrs. Brideau was a fancy heel coverer for New England Wood Heel in Amesbury for almost 50 years, until the factory closed. She then worked for the Stride Rite Shoe Factory in Newburyport, Mass., for 10 years. She was a lifelong communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Amesbury, and was active with the Amesbury and Seabrook Senior Citizen Clubs. She is survived by two sons, Norman J. Hebert of Fremont and Robert Hebert of North Hampton; four daughters, Yvonne Losilot of Blackwell, Mo., and Shirley Clocher, Sheila Vaivoda and Helen McGary, all of Seabrook; 21 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday in Sacred Heart Church, Amesbury. Memorial donations may be made to the Activities Fund at Rockingham County Nursing Home, 117 North Road, Brentwood, N.H. 03833.
