Permission received to include in the USGenWeb Archives. Carroll B. Bishop EPPING -- Carroll Burton Bishop, 85, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at Seacoast Health Center, Hampton. He was born April 11, 1915, in Fremont, the son of the late Alonzo and Lillian (Fuller) Bishop. He was raised in Fremont and was a longtime resident of Epping. Mr. Bishop served with the Conservation Civilian Corps camps as the first cook in 1933 and 1934, where he won a cross-country snow shoe race while serving in Berlin. After returning home he spent his earlier years as a foreman with Sorabella's Box Co. in Raymond. He owned a drywall business for several years and later served as chief of police in Epping. Nearing the age of retirement, he worked as a custodian at Epping Elementary School. He enjoyed boxing and wrestling and was well known in Amesbury, Mass., in 1934-35 when he held the title there and remained undefeated through 1935. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ella (Porter) Bishop of Epping; two daughters, Grace Tucker and her husband Robert of Exeter and Julie Bishop of Epping; one son, Paul Bishop of Epping; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Perreault of Seabrook; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter, Nancy Carol Sargent; and two sisters, Etta Bishop and Evelyn Fortier; and four brothers, Chester, Herbert, Andrew and Sidney Bishop. There are no calling hours. Spring burial will be in Village Cemetery, Fremont. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater N.H. Chapter, 10 Ferry St., Suite 419, Concord, NH 03301. Arrangements are by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping. Louise G. Feldmann WILMINGTON, Del. -- Louise G. Feldmann, 80, died Tuesday, March 27, 2001, at her son's home. She was a 1943 graduate of the University of New Hampshire. Mrs. Feldmann was a chemist at Jackson Lab for DuPont Co. before her marriage. She was a long time member of Hanover Presbyterian Church; a former member of High Point Swim Club; the DuPont Country Club; and the Wilmington Trail Club. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She was a substitute teacher in math, science and physical education and volunteered her time as a tutor at West End Neighborhood House. She was an avid sports enthusiast and played tennis, squash and field hockey. She was a lacrosse referee and toured Holland with the U.S. Team and was a sectionally ranked field hockey referee. The widow of George W. Feldmann, her husband of 55 years, she is survived by one son and his wife, Jack and Carol Feldmann of Wilmington; two daughters and their husbands, Jill F. and R. Allen Brandt of North Hampton and Joel Feldmann and Ben Brungraber of Keene; six grandsons; one great-granddaughter; and one brother, Forest Griffin of Exeter. She was predeceased by one sister, Dorothy Pryor. Memorial services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in Hanover Presbyterian Church, Wilmington. A service will be held in the spring in New Hampshire at time of burial. Memorial donations may be made to the UNH Foundation, University of New Hampshire, Durham, NH 03824. (Mullen) Moran, 90, of 9 Laperle Ave., died Monday, March 26, 2001, in Hale Hospital, Haverhill, Mass. She was born Sept. 2, 1910, in Haverhill, the daughter of the late Arthur and Catherine (Shannon) Mullen. She had resided in Plaistow since 1960 coming from Bradford, Mass. She was educated in Haverhill schools and was a 1927 graduate of St. James High School, Haverhill. Mrs. Moran was a member of Holy Angels Parish, Plaistow, and a former member of Court Sacred Hearts Catholic Daughters of American, Bradford. The widow of Paul F. Moran, who died in 1974, she is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Kathleen A. and David T. Merchant of Bristol, Patricia J. and F. Thomas Nissi of Bradford and Mary L. and Daniel P. Cody of Windham; two sons, Paul F. Moran Jr. and Richard J. Moran, both of Plaistow; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, the Rev. Joseph V. Mullen and Arthur T. Mullen, and two sisters, Mary Roche and Helen Herlihy. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, followed at 11 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in Holy Angels Church, Plaistow. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Primrose St., Haverhill.
