Permission received to include in the USGenWeb Archives. Stanley Dionne EPPING -- Stanley Dionne, 75, of Calef Highway died Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at his home after a long illness. He was born May 27, 1925 in Epping, the son of the late Stanisles G. and Mary L. (Jacques) Dionne. He was a native and life-long resident of Epping. He worked several years as a supervisor at the Donnelly Manufacturing Shoe Co., in Exeter. He also worked in other area shoe companies. Mr. Dionne was a veteran of the U.S. Navy; he served in W.W.II on submarines. He was a member of the American Legion Richard A. Mitchell Post #51 of Epping. He was predeceased by hid wife, Evelyn (Laliberty) Dionne. He is survived by one son, Norman Dionne of Danville; one daughter, Norma Corrow of Barrington; three grandchildren; one sister, Rose Lilienthal of Wyandotte, MI.; one brother, Leopold Dionne of Epping; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 7 at St. Joseph's Church in Epping. Spring burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in Epping. Flowers are acceptable. John Charles Lake KINGSTON -- John Charles Lake, 75, of Danville Road, died Sunday, April 8, 2001 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. He was born June 26, 1925 in Chelsea, Mass., the son of the late Hedley H. and Edith P. (Barrett) Lake. He had resided in Kingston for more than 40 years. A U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, Mr. Lake survived a kamikaze sinking of the U.S.S. Luce, DD-552, off Okinawa Island on May 4, 1945. He received the Purple Heart award. Mr. Lake was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars Wheadon Post 4479 of Raymond, and a member of the Plaistow Fish and Game Club. He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy W. (Komenda) who died Oct. 23, 1999; one brother, David Lake; and one step-grandson, Denny. He is survived by one daughter, Lucy Johnson and her husband Daniel; two step-sons, Stanley Haywood of Exeter and Fred Haywood of Kissimmee, Fla.; two brothers, Bill Lake of Arizona and Bob Lake of Webster; three sisters, June Logan of Port Charlotte, Fla., Ann Lake of Reading, Mass., and Ruth Mailhot of Colebrook; two granddaughters; five step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Burial was in Corser Hill Cemetery, Webster. Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter.
