"Seton" Bowler, 54, of 37 Hawkewood Road, died Sunday, May 13, 2001, at her home following a brief illness. She was born Jan. 7, 1947, in Winchendon, Mass., the daughter of the late Gordon A. Sr. and Cecile A. (Sirard) Bowler. She attended Murdock High School and Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, Mass. Ms. Bowler owned and operated After Eight Commercial Cleaning for three years and had previously worked at ProFinishing of East Hampstead, Applied Graphics in Groveland, Mass., and at the family business, Toy Town Boats of Winchendon. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, traveling and woodworking. She is survived by her longtime friend Debra Cormier and her two sons, Eric Cormier and Kyle Cormier, all of Sandown, with whom she made her home; two sisters, Donna Bowler of Auburn, Mass., and Theresa Maliska of Winchendon; and four brothers, John Bowler of Winchendon, Gordon Bowler Jr.. of Marlboro, Mass., Ronald Bowler of Winchendon and Donald Bowler of Gardner, Mass. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, Plaistow, followed by graveside services in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner. E. Evelyn Comeau PLAISTOW -- E. Evelyn (Toshach) Comeau, 95, of Pine Park, Walton Road, died Sunday, May 13, 2001, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood. She was born in Haverhill, Mass., was raised in Atkinson and had resided in Salem before moving to Plaistow 18 years ago. She was a graduate of Atkinson Academy and MacIntosh Business School. She attended Consentino School of Music and was certified to teach all stringed instruments. Mrs. Comeau was an accomplished musician and played the electric Hawaiian guitar and the banjo as the member of a former orchestra in California. She worked for several years in the crystal room at the former Western Electric Co. in North Andover, Mass. She attended the First Baptist Church of Plaistow. She is survived by one daughter, Doris E. Copp of Plaistow; two granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; one great-great-grandson; one sister, Grace Buzzell of Hawthorne, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Milton Pressey, who died in 1953, and her second husband, Joseph Comeau, who died in 1983. Funeral services were held Thursday in Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Haverhill. Richard F. Cowan RAYMOND -- Richard F. Cowan, 67, of 4 Ham Road, died Tuesday, May 15, 2001, at his home. He was born Jan. 7, 1934, in Salem, the son of the late Charles J. and Gertrude H. (Kimball) Cowan and had resided in Raymond for 40 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving for 5 years stationed in Laredo, Tex. Mr. Cowan was employed in the receiving department at Newark Atlantic in Lawrence, Mass., for more than 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post in Concord. He excelled at small engine repairs and enjoyed building models. He is survived by his wife, Therese L. (Desfosses) Cowan of Raymond; two daughters, Beatrice Lovely of Raymond and Susan Perry of Anchorage, Alaska; two sons, Peter Cowan of Reidsville, N.C., and Joseph Cowan of Raymond; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one sister, Alice Ackerman. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Brewitt Funeral Home, On the Common, Raymond, with the Rev. Kwan Lee officiating. Olsen GROVELAND, Mass. -- Robert W. Olsen, 62, of 1 Briscoe Road, died Sunday, May 13, 2001, at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born in Boston and had resided in Groveland since 1964. He attended Boston College High School, was a 1956 graduate of Stoneham High School and attended Wentworth Institute. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving aboard the USS Intrepid during the Cuban missile crisis. Mr. Olsen worked for the Polaroid Corp. at the P.60 group in Waltham, Mass., retiring in 1995 after 33 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jeanette "Sunny" (O'Keefe) Olsen; one son, Michael W. Olsen of Groveland; four daughters and their husbands, Debra and Bryant Jenkins of West Newbury, Mass., Teresa and Ronald Bolduc of Haverhill, Mass., Karen and Vincent Silvia of Bradford, Mass., and Lee and Stephen Lesiczka of Haverhill; four grandchildren; his mother, Anna (Shanahan) Olsen of Stoneham; four brothers, Ronald Olsen of Chelmsford, Mass., Richard Olsen of Wakefield, Mass., Edward Olsen of Pepperell, Mass., and James Olsen of Swampscott, Mass.; one sister, Kathleen Tobin of Stoneham; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday in St. John the Baptist Church, Haverhill. Burial was in Walnut Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements were by Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow. Richard W. Tatarinowicz HAMPTON FALLS -- Richard W. Tatarinowicz, 50, of 102 Exeter Road, died Monday, May 14, 2001, in Boston Medical Center, Boston. He was born Dec. 30, 1950, in Chelsea, Mass., the son of Thomas Tatarinowicz (Master Sgt. USMC Ret.) of New Bern, N.C. and Gloria (Culhane) Merola of Nottingham. He was raised in Arlington and Cambridge, Mass., and had resided in Hampton Falls for several years coming from Kingston. He attended Salem High School and the University of Kentucky. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War serving as a sergeant from 1968 until 1974. Mr. Tatarinowicz worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Haverhill, Mass., for nearly 20 years. He was a former member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 103 of Kingston and served as an assistant scout master for Troop No. 377 of Hampton Falls. He enjoyed boating and sports cars. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 22 years, Carol A. (Cabana) Tatarinowicz of Hampton Falls; one son, Eric T. Tatarinowicz of Hampton Falls; his stepmother, Sallie Tatarinowicz of New Bern, N.C.; his stepfather, Robert Merola of Nottingham; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hampton Falls. Arrangements are by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home, Hampton.
