Clarke, 62, of 17 Carriage Lane, died Saturday, June 23, 2001, in Parkland Medical Center, Derry, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Haverhill, Mass., and had resided in Plaistow and Atkinson before moving to Hampstead. She attended Haverhill public schools and was a 1956 graduate of Haverhill High School. Ms. Clarke was a quality control inspector at A.T.& T. Technologies for 19 years, retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Communication Workers of America; the A.T.& T. Bowling League; and an avid bingo player. She is survived by two sons, Richard S. Smith and his wife Lisa of Holly Springs, N.C., and Michael W. Smith of Haverhill; three grandchildren; her twin sister, Mary J. Buswell of Haverhill; four brothers, Edward P. Clarke of Farmington, Leo V. Clarke of Haverhill, Richard A. Clarke of Kingston and James V. Clarke Jr. of Hampstead; her longtime companion, Michael DiResta of Hampstead; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Graveside services were held Thursday in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill. Arrangements were by Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow. Paricia B. Hollingsworth DANVILLE -- Patricia B. Hollingsworth, 68, died Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston. She was born Oct. 23, 1932, in New York City, the daughter of the late Patrick and Rosemarie (Boyle) O'Neill. She came to New Hampshire in 1998. She was a graduate of Bloomsburg State University in Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in speech pathology and received her master's degree with honors at Penn State. Mrs. Hollingsworth was a speech and language clinician for the State of Pennsylvania for 42 years. She enjoyed international travel and visited many countries. The widow of Robert Hollingsworth, who died in 1984, she is survived by one son, Sean P. Hollingsworth of Hampstead; and two grandsons. Memorial services were held Saturday in the Congregational Church, Hampstead. Memorial donations may be made to the Danville Public Library. "Stella" (LaFontaine) Moore, 92, died Monday, June 25, 2001, at her granddaughter's home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Plaistow and was a graduate of the Pollard School. Mrs. Moore was a beautician working in Haverhill, Mass., beauty salons. She was a member of St. Michael Church, Exeter, and enjoyed playing bingo. She is survived by three grandchildren, Kevin Moore of Sherman Mills, Maine, Karen Lambert of Exeter, with whom she made her home, and Robin LaPointe of North Hampton; one daughter-in-law, Gloria Pearson of Epping; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Liturgy was held Thursday in Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, Plaistow. Burial was in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow. A Memorial Mass will be held in Holy Angels Church at a later date.
