Permission received to include in the USGenWeb Archives. Lois S. Blaney DANVILLE -- Lois S. (Tucker) Blaney, 88, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, at her home following a lengthy illness. She was born Nov. 6, 1913, in Providence, R.I., the daughter of the late Jerome H. and Anna B. (Slade) Tucker. She had resided in Seekonk, Mass., for more than 60 years, and had resided in Danville since 1999. She was a 1931 graduate of Hope High School where she competed in swimming and diving and was a member of the women's varsity basketball team, and was a 1935 graduate of Rhode Island School of Design. Mrs. Blaney was a teller at Old Stone Bank and People's Savings Bank in Providence and later as the assistant buyer in the women's sportswear department at Cherry & Webb in Providence. She attended First Congregational Church of Kingston, and was a longtime member of Newman Congregational Church of Rumford, R.I. She was an accomplished classical pianist and artist working in oils, and enjoyed many outdoor activities as well as sewing, knitting and crocheting. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Thomas H. Blaney Jr.; one son and his wife, Thomas H. and Patricia Blaney of Belle Meade, N.J.; one daughter and her husband, Janet L. and Kenneth Danisevich of Danville; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday in First Congregational Church, Kingston. Burial was in Meetinghouse Cemetery, Danville. Hildegard Coe RAYMOND -- Hildegard Coe, 72, of Riverside Drive, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, in Elliot Hospital, Manchester, after a sudden illness. She was born June 11, 1929, in Germany, the daughter of the late Edward and Emilie (Schmidt) Grund and had been a longtime resident of Raymond, spending her winters in Florida. Mrs. Coe enjoyed traveling, camping and playing bingo. She is survived by one son and his wife, David and Katherine Coe of Jupiter, Fla.; two daughters and their husbands, Deborah and John Page and Donna and Kerry Pratt, all of Raymond; four grandchildren; her longtime companion and fiancé, Winfield O'Shea of Raymond; several brothers and sisters from Germany; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Rose Marie Kaminski, who died October 25. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in New Pine Grove Cemetery, Raymond, with the Rev. Arrangements are by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond. Thomas W. Hunter CHARLESTON, Ill. -- Thomas Wayne Hunter, 60, of Oakland, Ill., died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, in the Richard L. Roudebush Veteran's Administration Medical Center, Indianapolis, Ind. He was born April 5, 1941, in Charleston, the son of the late James and Anna Mae (Hudson) Hunter. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the early 1960s. Mr. Hunter was a truck driver for J&L Trucking of Charleston and was a lifelong over-the-road driver. He enjoyed country music, watching old western movies and televised NASCAR races, racing and fine tuning stock cars. He was a member of the Eagles Ambraw Aerie No. 3100 of Charleston and the American Legion Post of Neoga, Ill. He is survived by a special friend, Norma Stanberry of Charleston; Pat Hunter of Raymond; two sons, Larry Hunter of Charleston and Brian Hunter and his wife Jeannie of Raymond; two daughters, Rhonda Hunter and Angie Hunter, both of Raymond; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Lela Mae Heath of Kansas, Ill., and Joanna Bosler of Westfield, Ill.; He was predeceased by one brother, Lowell Hunter; and one granddaughter, Mariah Wysocki. Services celebrating his life were held Sunday with the Rev. Jack Turner officiating. Military burial was in Roselawn Cemetery, Charleston. Jackson HAMPTON -- Robert E. Jackson, 79, of 7 Dearborn Ave., died Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, in Exeter Hospital. He was born July 31, 1922, in Brattleboro, Vt., the son of the late Lee F. and Alta E. (King) Jackson. He resided in Ipswich, Mass., for many years in Seabrook for 23 years, moving to Hampton last year. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving as a technician 5th grade with the 90th Reconnaissance Battalion in Central Europe. Mr. Jackson was a machinist for the Sylvania plants in Ipswich and Salem, Mass., retiring in 1980 after 20 years of service. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting and riding motorcycles in his younger years. He rode the Army's Harley Davidson motorcycles during the war. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hazel V. (Luce) Jackson of Hampton; two sons, Robert E. Jackson Jr. of Center Barnstead and David A. Jackson of Lee; four daughters, Sally A. Doucette of Center Barnstead, Judy E. Perry of Fremont, Linda M. Ambrose of Exeter and Beverly C. Joslyn of Center Barnstead; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Barbara Jelley of West Springfield, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Isabelle Libby HAVERHILL, Mass. -- Isabelle (Lawless) (Pyne) Libby, 88, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at Kenoza Manor. She was born in Auburn, Maine, and had resided in Haverhill for more than 60 years. She was educated in Auburn schools. Mrs. Libby was a layout operator at Western Electric Co. of No. Andover, Mass., for more than 29 years. She had been a crane operator at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard during World War II. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and a former member of the Communication Workers of America. She enjoyed crafts and Japanese bunka embroidering. The widow of Roger Pyne, she is survived by one son and his wife, Richard W. and Bette Pyne of Atkinson; one daughter, Elizabeth Shaw of Hampstead; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow. Burial was in Plaistow Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice. Simonne A. Lord RAYMOND -- Simonne A. (Yergeau) Lord, 79, formerly of Ledgewood Commons, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2001, at the Edgewood Centre, Portsmouth. She was born in Exeter, the daughter of the late Germain and Marie Louise Yergeau. She resided in Epping and made her home in Sarasota Fla., for more than 15 years before coming back to New Hampshire five years ago. She attended school in Epping and Exeter. Mrs. Lord was a stitcher for Madbury Shoe in Rochester. While in Florida she worked for the Sarasota Library system. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping. The widow of Alfred Lord, who died in 1972, she is survived by one daughter and her husband, Yvonne and Frederick Chainey of Portsmouth; two granddaughters; three great-children; two sisters, Alice Bouchard of Deerfield and Theresa Hackett of Coolidge, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Theresa Yergeau of Epping; and one brother, Raymond Yergeau of Epping and Haines City, Fla. She was predeceased by two brothers, Gerard Yergeau and Albert Yergeau. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday in St. Joseph Church, Epping. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping. Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping. Joanne E. Shallow PLAISTOW -- Joanne E. Shallow, 46, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2001, in Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, Mass. She was born Sept. 23, 1955, in Philadelphia, the daughter of Frances (Danila) Shallow of Plaistow the late Thomas A. Shallow, who died in July. She was raised in Plaistow. She was educated in Plaistow schools and Timberlane High School. Ms. Shallow was a waitress at Shawsheen Luncheonette, Andover, Mass. She was an avid flower arranger. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one son, Jordan Shallow of Plaistow; two brothers, Thomas Shallow of Hampstead and Christopher Shallow of Gulfport, Fla.; one sister, Patricia Brown of Plaistow; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday in Holy Angels Church, Plaistow. Burial was in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow.
