DelPercio ATKINSON -- Louis J. DelPercio, 86, of 10 Rose Lane, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, in Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, Mass. He was born Feb. 22, 1915, in New York City, the son of the late Anthony and Filomena (Nardiello) DelPercio. He had resided in Flushing, N.Y., until 1977, and in East Hampstead from 1977 until 1990 when he moved to Atkinson. Mr. DelPercio was a foreman with Railway Express Co., Long Island, N.Y., for more than 30 years, retiring in 1974, and owned and operated Lou's Bottles and Cans of Atkinson. He was a member of St. Anne Parish, Hampstead, and was formerly an active member of the Vic Geary Center, Plaistow. He enjoyed traveling to the Bahamas and Florida with his family, gardening and driving his pick up truck. The widower of Theresa M. (Bruno) DelPercio, who died in 1987, he is survived by one daughter and her husband, MaryAnn and Thomas A. Eifler of Atkinson; two grandchildren; three brothers, Alex DelPercio of Babylon, L.I., Hank DelPercio of Bethpage, L.I., and Anthony DelPercio of Pennsylvania; five sisters, Margaret Romanello and Viola Cestare, both of Long Island, Eleanor DePietto and Norma Leahy, both of Port Richey, Fla., and Gloria DelPercio of New Port Richey, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. in the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Funeral Home, 29 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, followed at 10:30 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anne Church, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead. Hersom, 51, of Main Street, died Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2002, in Exeter Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born Aug. 15, 1950, in Exeter, the son of the late Myron L. and Florida (Laramie) Hersom and had resided in Fremont for 22 years. He was a graduate of Exeter High School. Mr. Hersom was a lab technician at Chemtan Inc., Exeter, for 25 years. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Diane (Bannon) Hersom of Fremont; one son, Cori Hersom of Allenstown; two sisters, Aurise Grossenbacher of West Jefferson, Ohio, and Myra Martson of Exeter; two brothers, Eugene Hersom of Rochester and Edward Hersom of Durham; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one son, Tobi J. Hersom, who died in 1994. Memorial services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter. An hour of visitation with be held Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service in the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Exeter Cemetery. Nason KINGSTON -- Marian Elizabeth Nason, 81, of Danville Road, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2002, in Exeter Hospital. She was born July 12, 1920, in Weare, the daughter of the late George and Stella (Colburn) DeCota. She was raised in Deerfield and Hampton and had resided in Kingston for 45 years. She was a graduate of Hampton Academy. Mrs. Nason was employed by Western Electric in North Andover, Mass. for 22 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. The widow of Elvin F. Nason, she is survived by one daughter, Susanne Fiset of Haverhill, Mass.; two sons, Paul Nason of Kingston and Gary Nason of Hollis, Maine; two step-children, Gilbert Nason of Virginia and Virginia Langdon of Illinois; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Stella Makar and Ethel Baker, both of Deerfield, and Eva Sell of Florida; two brothers, Joseph DeCota of Brooksville, Fla., and Ralph Scribner of Deerfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Freeman Nason. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston. Jennie Swett KINGSTON -- Jennie (Tucker) Swett, 90, of 17 Danville Road, died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, after a lengthy illness. She was born April 18, 1911, in Kingston the daughter of William F. and Nellie (Simes) Tucker and was a lifelong resident of Kingston. She was a graduate of Sanborn Seminary, Kingston. Mrs. Swett was employed by Christie's Farms in Kingston and Wise Shoe in Exeter for many years. The widow of Wilbert M. Swett, she is survived by two sisters, Beatrice Nason of Kingston and Eldora Bennett of Haverhill, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. Graveside services were held Thursday in Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston, with the Rev. Wendall Irvine officiating. Lorraine Wallace RAYMOND -- Lorraine Wallace, 42, of Lisa Avenue, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2002, at her home after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was born March 7, 1959, in Exeter the daughter of Norman Marcotte of Raymond and the late Elaine (Maynard) Marcotte. She had resided in Epping before moving to Raymond 24 years ago. Mrs. Wallace was employed by the Kingston-Warren Corp., Newfields, until she became ill. She enjoyed spending time with her family and playing horseshoes and bingo. The widow of Dale Wallace, who died in 2000, in addition to her father she is survived by three daughters, Megan Wallace of Raymond, Michelle Wallace of Dover and Tammy Fauci of Somersworth; six grandchildren; three sisters, Sharon White of Barrington, Debbie Woodward of Epping and Pam Glover of Exeter; one brother, Randy Marcotte of Exeter; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday at noon in the Brewitt Funeral Home, On the Common, Raymond, with the Rev. Wayne VanGundy officiating. Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Raymond.
