Bullerwell KINGSTON -- Harry A. Bullerwell, 57, of Exeter Road, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, in Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, from injuries suffered in an accident at work. He was born March 28, 1944, in Lynn, Mass., the son of the late Harry and Wilma (Butler) Bullerwell. He was raised in Hamilton, Mass., and had resided in West Peabody, Mass., for 25 years, in Hampstead for 10 years and in Kingston for one year. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Mr. Bullerwell was a heavy equipment operator for S. Strogoff Co., Inc., of Chelsea, Mass. for eight years. He had previously worked for the Iron Workers Local No. 7 in Boston for several years and with Hartnett Auto Body in Danvers, Mass., for 10 years. He enjoyed camping at Sunset Park in Hampstead. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Grace M. (Bettencourt) Bullerwell of Kingston; one daughter and her husband, Donna and Paul Bean of Kingston; one son, Sean Bullerwell of Kingston; one grandson; one brother, Donald Bullerwell of Taunton, Mass.; four sisters, Betty Jane Hurley of Beverly, Mass., Jeannie Pitman of Salem, Mass., Susan DeCosta of Newton and Coralie "Cookie" Fritz of Peabody, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Tuesday in Kingston First Congregational Church, Kingston. Military burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston. Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter. Steven A. Fuller RAYMOND -- Steven A. Fuller, 47, of 164 Route 27, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, after a brief illness. He was born June 26, 1954, in Medford, Mass., the son of Richard Fuller of Fremont and the late Ruth (Clark) Fuller and had resided in Raymond for 10 years. Mr. Fuller was a warehouse mover at the Sears Logistical Center in Kingston for several years. He enjoyed flying and his 1985 Mustang. In addition to his father, he is survived by one brother, Gerald Fuller of Haverhill, Mass.; one sister, Judith Queen of Woburn, Mass.; one aunt, Lillian Scott of Newmarket; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Church of the Nazarene, Haverhill, Mass. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Joubert BRENTWOOD -- Geraldine L. (Cooney) Joubert, 82, of Auburn, died March 2, 2002, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home after a brief illness. She was born March 11, 1919, in Worcester, Mass., the daughter of Thomas P. and Anna (Fitzpatrick) Cooney and had resided in Auburn since 1972, coming from Shrewsbury, Mass. She was educated in Worcester schools. Mrs. Joubert was a communicant of St. Peter Church. She was a former president of the Auburn Chapter of the Lioness Club and was active as a former Girl Scout leader. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Arthur J. Joubert Sr., of Auburn; one son, Timothy Joubert of Auburn; three daughters, Judith A. Riik and Pauline M. MacDonald, both of Auburn, and Susan L. Vaillancourt of Raymond; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Thomas Cooney Jr. of Melrose, Mass. She was predeceased by one son, Arthur J. Joubert Jr., who died in 1989; and one great-great-grandson, Owen Sanborn. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday in St. Peter Church. Spring burial will be in Auburn Village Cemetery. William LeBlanc Jr. NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. -- William "Bill" LeBlanc Jr., 41, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at his home. He was born Nov. 9, 1960, in Somerville, Mass., the son of William and Eleanor LeBlanc of Fremont. He was raised in Fremont and had resided in North Las Vegas for 10 years. He was a graduate of Exeter High School. Mr. LeBlanc was a senior network engineer for computers. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Diane LeBlanc; two sons, Christopher and Joshua LeBlanc of North Las Vegas; one daughter, Sarah LeBlanc of North Las Vegas; two brothers, Arthur Peters of Boston and Donald LeBlanc of Billerica, Mass.; three sisters, Eleanor Johnstone of Fremont, Margaret Youngman of Rochester, N.Y., and RoseMarie Tomaszczuk of Raymond; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by one sister, Marlene Shaw. Memorial services were held in North Las Vegas. Arrangements were by Affordable Crematorium. Shirley A. Malcolm HAMPTON -- Shirley A. Malcolm, 69, of 7 Dearborn Road, died Friday, March 1, 2002, in Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport, Mass., after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 9, 1932, in Haverhill, Mass., the daughter of the late Harry and Florence (Hutt) Merrill. After the loss of her parents, she was raised by her aunt and uncle, Mable and Stuart Fyfe, in Somerville, Mass. She had resided in Dedham, Mass., Newburyport and Exeter, spending the last seven years in Hampton. She was educated in Somerville schools. Mrs. Malcolm was employed in the laundry and housekeeping departments at Seacoast Health Center, Hampton. She had previously worked for many years at CBS Hytron, Newburyport, and for many local shoe shops. She was a volunteer driver for the Dearborn House in Hampton and a member of the Raymond E. Walton American Legion Post No. 70 Ladies Auxiliary of Seabrook. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Stephen E. Malcolm Sr.; two sons, Tristram Souther Jr. of Rochester and Andrew Souther of Crystal River, Fla.; two daughters, Sheila Coombs of Fremont and Deborah Souther of Haverhill, Mass.; six grandchildren; three brothers, Harry Merrill and Earl Merrill, both of Haverhill, and Richard Lancaster of Vermont; two sisters, Dorothy Merrill of Bradford, Mass., and Mary Miller of Haverhill; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and her former husband, Tristram Souther Sr. of Crystal River, Fla. She was predeceased by one son, David Souther; and one brother, Robert Merrill. Graveside services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. Page BRENTWOOD -- Arthur W. "Artie" Page, 75, of North Road, died Friday, March 1, 2002, at his home. He was born Dec. 10, 1926, in Brentwood, the son of the late Oscar E. and Geneva (Severance) Page, in the home that he lived in all of his life. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a seaman first class. Mr. Page retired from Brentwood Furniture, Haverhill, Mass., in 1992. He was a former member of the Brentwood Police Department and was also a guard at the Rockingham County Correctional Facility. He was known for his 1928 Model A car, which he drove in local parades. He was a gifted woodworker and enjoyed playing bingo. He was a member of Brentwood Baptist Church for many years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Margaret (McCullough) Page; two daughters, Kathleen Page and Marleen Hirscht, both of Exeter; one son, John A. Page of Fremont; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two brothers, Howard Page of Fremont and Lloyd Page of Pennsylvania; and two sisters, Pauline Fox of Pittsfield and Eleanor McCullough of Effingham. He was predeceased by two brothers, Oscar Page Jr. and Herbert Page. Funeral services were held Wednesday in Brentwood Baptist Church with former pastor, Rev. James Barnes, officiating. Burial was in the Sleeper-Peterson Cemetery, Fremont. Box 608, Kingston, NH 03848. Walter R. Reed NEWTON -- Walter R. Reed, 70, of 75 North Main St., died Sunday, March 3, 2002, in Exeter Hospital. He was born and raised in Andover, Mass., and had resided in Newton since 1963. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean conflict. Mr. Reed was a machinist at Essex Silverline in Dracut, Mass., for more than 25 years, retiring in 1988. He was a longtime member of the Newton Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Rock Church in Plaistow. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ruth (Mitchell) Reed; four daughters, Barbara Robinson of Newton, Laurie Morisseau of Raymond, Linda Brocklebank of Lee and Pamela Britton of Salisbury, Mass.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Albert Reed of Chicago; six sisters, Beverly Ricci and Carlene Waldie, both of Methuen, Mass., Bertha O'Brien of New Port Richey, Fla., Judy Estes of Gulfport, Fla., Cora Rogers of Ledyard, Conn., and Joyce Corcoran of Tewksbury, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. Box 209, Newton, NH 03858. Charles F. Rowell Jr. NORTH HAMPTON -- Charles Fremont Rowell Jr., 75, of 152 Post Road, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at the Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood. He was born Dec. 30, 1926, in Newburyport, Mass., the son of Charles and Harriet (Lake) Rowell. He was a 1944 graduate of Newburyport High School and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving as a supply sergeant. Mr. Rowell was a self-employed lumber dealer, later turning that business into Chuckies Flea Market. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and the American Legion. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Theresa Rowell; two sons and their wives, Jeffery D. and Cheryl Rowell of Fremont and David C. and Kathleen Rowell of Eliot, Maine; three daughters, Victoria Haley and her husband William of Exeter, Diane T. Rowell of North Hampton and Pamela Stickney; five grandchildren; and one brother, Roger Rowell of Newburyport. Funeral services were held Monday in the Farrell Funeral Home, Portsmouth. Irene Sousa EPPING -- Irene Sousa, 88, of 290 Calef Highway, died Friday, March 1, 2002, in Exeter Hospital. She was born May 16, 1913, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of the late John E. and Aura (Elwell) Graham. She was raised in Lynn and spent many years in Kingston, moving to Epping in 1988. The widow of Manuel Sousa, she is survived by two daughters, Margaret Goudreau of East Kingston and Barbara Buchanan of Pennsylvania; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one sister, Phylis Rutherford of Everett, Mass.
