Lacasse ROCHESTER -- Michael J. Lacasse, 45, of 280 Old Dover Road, died Thursday, March 21, 2002, in Exeter Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born June 9, 1956, the son of Jacques G. Lacasse of Rochester and the late Betty R. (Meissner) Lacasse. He was raised in Rochester and had resided in Exeter for several years before moving back to Rochester four years ago. He was a graduate of Spaulding High School. Mr. Lacasse was a facilities manager for Profile Metal Forming Co. in Raymond. He enjoyed boating, hiking and snowmobiling. He was an avid hockey fan and enjoyed coaching from the sidelines for his son's hockey team. In addition to his father, he is survived by one son, Bradley J. Lacasse of Hampton Falls; one daughter, Sarah L. Lacasse of Exeter; their mother, Cindy L. (Sharp) Lacasse of Exeter; one brother, Peter J. Lacasse of Rochester; three sisters, Denise A. Gannarelli of Warner Robins, Ga., and Diane M. Moody and Lisa A. Warren, both of Rochester; and several nieces and nephews; one grand-nephew; and a special friend. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday in St. Michael Church, Exeter. Memorial donations may be made to the N.H. SPCA, P.O. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885. Arrangements were by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter. Bernard W. Murphy FREMONT -- Bernard W. Murphy, 83, of Old Ridge Road, died Friday, March 22, 2002, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born April 23, 1918, in Concord, the son of the late Daniel B. and Edith L. (Giddis) Murphy. He resided in Billerica, Mass., for 19 years before moving to Fremont 22 years ago. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Murphy was employed at Bus N' Bodies in Plaistow for six years. He had previously been an assistant manager at the Burlington Mall, a manager at the Methuen Mall and had worked at the Boston Shipyards for 22 years. He was a communicant of St. Joseph Church, Epping. The widower of Agnes (McCarville) Murphy, his wife of 43 years who died in 1990, he is survived by two daughters, Leslie Currier and Dorothy "Dolly" Waters, both of Fremont; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Jean Gilman of Virginia Beach, Va.; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday in St. Joseph Church, Epping. Burial was in Leavitt Cemetery, Fremont. Memorial donations may be made to Seacoast Hospice, 10 Hampton Road, Exeter, NH 03833. Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Epping.
