Braun DANVILLE -- Robert B. Braun, 76, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, in Exeter Hospital. He was born Jan. 13, 1926, in Boston, the son of the late George F. and Mary E. (MacLellen) Braun and had resided in Danville for several years. He was a graduate of Milton (Mass.) High School and Northeastern University and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Braun was a quality control inspector for Allen-Bradley Co., Inc., Derry, retiring in 1992. He had previously worked for Electronics Corp. of America, Cambridge, Mass. He was a communicant of St. Anne Church, Hampstead, and served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the St. Maximilian Kalbe Council No. 9058 Knights of Columbus, Hampstead. He is survived by his wife, Emma Ruth (Cessna) Braun of Danville; two cousins, Norma Randall Fogg of Boynton Beach, Fla., and Allen Tully of Brockton, Mass.; his godchild, Monique Tully of Brockton; several nieces and nephews; and his dear friends, Tim and Brenda O'Neil of Danville. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Thursday in St. Anne Church. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury, Mass. Arrangements were by the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Funeral Home, Haverhill. Julia Ann Cormier LAWRENCE, Mass. -- Julia Ann (Spirdione) Cormier, 82, died Tuesday, April 30, 2002, in Lawrence General Hospital. She was born in Lawrence and resided in Danville for many years before moving to Derry and Davie, Fla. Mrs. Cormier was a retired tax examiner for the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, Mass. She was a member of St. Anne Church, Hampstead, and was an avid reader. The widow of George I. Cormier, she is survived by one daughter and her husband, Kathy and Eric Wilson of Haverhill, Mass.; two grandchildren; one brother, Albert Spirdione of Southfield, Mich.; two sisters; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, George J. Cormier. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 7, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anne Church, Hampstead. (Pydynkowski) Matson, 94, died Wednesday, May 1, 2002, at the Rosewood Nursing Home, Peabody, Mass., after a brief illness. She was born in Salem, Mass., the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Pszenny) Pydynkowski and lived most of her life in Salem and had resided in Kingston for 30 years. Mrs. Matson was employed by the former Henry Leather Co. in Salem and later worked at Varian Electronics in Beverly, Mass., retiring 30 years ago. She was a former member of the House of Seven Gables Association and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. The widow of Elmer M. Matson, she is survived by one daughter and her husband, Nancy and Lawrence O'Keefe of Peabody, Mass.; one son and his wife, Paul and Katherine Matson of Kingston; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one brother, Henry Pydynkowski of Salem; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Frank, Edward, Albert, Theodore and Valentine Pydynkowski, Sophie Romaszko, Kate Oswald, Jane Phillips, Henrietta DeFalice, Irene McNamara and Patricia Wright. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 8 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church, St. Peter Street, Salem. Aline E. Menasian RAYMOND -- Aline E. (Bellerose) Menasian, 62, died Friday, April 26, 2002, at the Town and Country Manor Nursing Center, Lowell, Mass. She was born June 1, 1939, in Haverhill, Mass., the daughter of Laurette R. (Cote) Bellerose of Raymond and the late Arthur A. Bellerose. She had been a resident of Raymond for 25 years coming from Haverhill. She was a 1957 graduate of Haverhill High School. Mrs. Menasian was a materials analyst for Lucent Technologies, Inc., North Andover, Mass., for 42 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the New Hampshire Doberman Rescue League. She was a former member of St. Joseph Parish, Haverhill. In addition to her mother, she is survived by several cousins. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday in All Saints Church, Haverhill. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made to the New Hampshire Doberman Rescue League or to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
