Mitchell DANVILLE -- Ruth M. (Collins) Mitchell, 87, of Pine Street, died Monday, June 17, 2002, at her home. She was born in Boston and had resided in Oregon and Washington state before moving to Danville as a child. She had lived in Haverhill, Mass., for several years and in Connecticut. She attended the former Sanborn Seminary in Kingston. Mrs. Mitchell worked at the former Western Electric Co., as a clerk and secretary at Louis Wood Heel Co. and Ornstein Wood Heel Co., both in Haverhill. During World War II she was a riveter in aircraft manufacturing plants in Connecticut. She attended Danville Baptist Church. The widow of Fred C. Mitchell, she is survived by one son, Robert C. Mitchell of East Hampstead; two daughters, Judith A. Caillouette and her husband Joseph of Plaistow, and Patricia J. Murphy of West Ossipee; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul D. Collins of Danville; three sisters, Lucille Fernald of Plaistow, Dorothy Rowe of Brentwood and Barbara Gorton of Danville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held Thursday in Danville Baptist Church. Burial was in South Side Cemetery, Nottingham. Arrangements were by Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow. Parker Moses Stevens RAYMOND -- Parker Moses Stevens, infant son of David L. and Rebecca (Batchelder) Stevens of Raymond, died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, in Exeter Hospital. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Reid P. Stevens of Raymond; one sister, Gaybriel L. Stevens of Raymond; his paternal grandparents, David and Carol Stevens of Stratham; his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Gayle Batchelder of Exeter; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in Village Cemetery, Kensington. Arrangements are by the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter.
