Grove HAMPSTEAD - Wayne A. Grove, 68, died Sunday, March 16, 2003, at Integrated Health Services of Derry. He was born in Beverly, Mass., and was raised in Hamilton, Mass. He was a 1953 graduate of Hamilton Wenham High School. Mr. Grove was a mechanic at Ryal Side Auto of Beverly for 22 years and had previously owned and operated Hamilton Village Service Center for 17 years. He was a member of the John T. Heard Lodge A.F.& A.M. of Ipswich, Mass., and the U.S. Golf Association. He was an avid fisherman, bowler and NASCAR enthusiast. He is survived by two sons and their wives, Wayne and Lynne Grove of Amesbury, Mass., and Ronald A. and Marianna Grove of Hampstead, with whom he made his home; two daughters and their husbands, Anne and Jeff Townsend of Dayton, Ohio, and Jo-Ann and Jeff Fuller of Dallas, Tex.; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Henrietta Goodwin of Hamilton and Dorothy Morgan of Maine; his former wife of 24 years, Anna Eskelson of Ohio; one aunt and uncle; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Melanson EPPING - George Emery Melanson, 62, of Blake Road, died Wednesday, March 19, 2003, at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born March 27, 1940, in Boston, the son of the late Joseph G.E. and Edith (Hendsbee) Melanson. He resided in Epping for eight years coming from Salem. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving aboard the USS McCaffrey. Mr. Melanson was employed by Western Electric, saw it change to AT&T and Lucent Technologies, where he worked as the plant electrician. He was the union steward and vice president of Local Union 1365. He was a volunteer fireman for the Nottingham Fire Department and was a life member of Amvets. He enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycles and traveling. He is survived by his wife, Marguerite (Max) Melanson of Epping; four daughters, Sharon Melanson of Lawrence, Mass., Laurie Melanson of Bradford, Mass., Rita Gagnon of Epping, and JoAnne Shaw of Middleton; two sons, Joseph Melanson of Haverhill, Mass., and Donald Hamel of Raymond; and nine grandchildren. Calling hours will be held Friday, March 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 8 Pleasant St., Epping. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 29, at 10 a.m. in Epping Community Church, Pleasant St., Epping. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Epping Community Church, Pleasant St., Epping, NH 03042. Rose A. Neville KINGSTON - Rose A. (Comeau) Neville, 96, died Saturday, March 15, 2003, at SunBridge Healthcare of Exeter. She was born in Lynn, Mass., and had resided in Kingston for 33 years. She was educated in Lynn schools. Mrs. Neville was a sales clerk at T. W. Rogers Department Store of Lynn, retiring in 1970. She was a communicant of Mary, Mother of the Church, Newton; a member of the Newton Junction Grange; the Granite State Grange; and a former member of the XYZ Senior Citizens Club of Kingston, the Kingston Merry Seniors, the Get Acquainted Club, and the Kingston Community House. The widow of James F. Neville, she is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., (Route 121A) Plaistow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the funeral home followed at 10 a.m. by a Mass of Christian Burial in Mary, Mother of the Church. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Kingston. Carolann Simmons RAYMOND - Carolann Simmons, 61, of Prescott Road, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003, after a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 20, 1941, in Lynn, Mass. She is survived by her grandchildren and many friends. Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond.
