Stephanie Gagnon Doyle EXETER - Stephanie Rae Gagnon Doyle, 39, of 40 Hampton Road, C12, died Thursday, May 22, 2003, at her home after a sudden illness. She was born April 19, 1964, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of Robert S. and Sharon R. (Doucette) Nichols of Raymond. She was educated in Kinsgton schools and was a 1982 graduate of Sanborn Regional High School. She completed her training as a hairdresser at the Barbizon School of Beauty in Lawrence, Mass. Simply for enjoyment, never working in a salon, she was always willing to provide haircuts for family and friends. Mrs. Gagnon Doyle was a homemaker at the time of her death and had previously been a bookkeeper for several firms throughout the area. She was an avid cook and baker; was a motorcycle enthusiast and was a member of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club. She enjoyed knitting and excelled with her computer, entering many computer contests. She enjoyed traveling, especially to New York City and Florida. She was instrumental in raising monies for many New Hampshire veterans. Through corporate and private donations, she raised countless dollars for Liberty House in Manchester. She was a former member of St. James Episcopal Church, Amesbury, Mass. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Thomas C. Doyle of Exeter, one son, Andrew R. Gagnon; one sister, Renee Burke of Kingston; one brother, Robert of Raymond; her maternal grandparents, Harold J. and Ruth Doucette of Fremont; two stepdaughters, Amber and Leah Doyle of Dover; one uncle, George Nichols of Gloucester, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Carroll R. Gagnon, who drowned in 1991 in the Lakes Region while canoeing; one son, Christopher R. Gagnon, who died at birth in 1984; and her paternal grandmother, Jane Nichols Manning. Funeral services were held Monday in the Robert K. Gray Jr. Funeral Home, Hampton, followed by burial was in Village Cemetery, Fremont. Priscilla I. Gaskill HAMPSTEAD - Priscilla I. "Pinky" (Davis) Gaskill, 90, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, at her daughter’s home following a lengthy illness. She was born in Hampstead and was the oldest living native-born citizen of the town. She attended local schools. Mrs. Gaskill retired from the former Western Electric Co. in No. Andover, Mass., in 1977. She was previously employed at Emerson Shoe Shop in Hampstead. She was a member of Hampstead Congregational Church and was a former member of the choir. She was a member of the C.W.A. and the Telelphone Pioneers of America. The widow of Daniel L. Gaskill, she is survived by one daughter and her husband, Carol and Richard Garcia of Hampstead; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her longtime companion, Howard C. Hamel of Hampstead; two nieces and one nephew. Memorial services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. (Griffin) Robinson, 52, died Monday, May 26, 2003, in Parkland Medical Center, Derry, after a sudden illness. She was born Nov. 20, 1950, in Haverhill, Mass., the daughter of Lorraine F. (Smith) Hill of Georgetown, Mass. She had resided in Kingston before moving to Hampstead 25 years ago. She was educated in Groveland, Mass., schools and was a graduate of Pentucket Regional High School, West Newbury, Mass. Mrs. Robinson was the manager of Supercuts, Shaw’s Plaza, Plaistow. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Alan L. Robinson of Hampstead; one daughter, Erika L. Robinson of Hampstead; one son, Zachary D. Pepin of Bedford; two sisters, Judith L. Lambroukos of Lowell, Mass., and Patricia A. Griffin of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Gerald E. Hill of Groveland, Mass., David G. Hill of Bloomfield, Conn., and Richard A. Hill of Haverhill; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the C. Frank Linnehan & Son Bradford Funeral Home, 52 Salem St., Bradford, Mass. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885. Marcella A. Rubchinuk MIDDLETON, Mass. - Marcella A. (Hebb) Rubchinuk, 80, died Thursday, May 15, 2003, in Beverly Hospital. She is survived by three sons, and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Lois Rubchinuk of Oklahoma, Mark and Cindy Rubchinuk of Middleton and Timothy Rubchinuk of Danvers, Mass.; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Diane and Gerald Leblanc of New Hampshire, Linda and George McCarthy and Lisa Singh, all of New Jersey, and Kimberly and Steven Byrnes of New Hampshire; two sisters, Eliza Stark of Maine and Patricia Rogers of New Hampshire; 22 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Ann Williams; one great-granddaughter, Allysia Byrnes; and three brothers, Robert, Horace and Albert Hebb. Arrangements were by the Peterson O’Donnell Funeral Home, Danvers, Mass. Marcia C. Sanborn DANVILLE - Marcia C. Sanborn, 91, of Beach Plain Road, died February 26, 2003, in Exeter Hospital. She was born Oct. 25, 1911, in Buckfield, Maine, the daughter of Charles B. and Marion (Clark) Conant. She was raised in Maine and Kingston and had resided in North Danville for 69 years. She was a 1931 graduate of Sanborn Seminary, Kingston. Mrs. Sanborn was employed by Keezar Manufacturing in Plaistow for many years, retiring in 1968. She had previously worked for F.W. Woolworth in Exeter for several years. She enjoyed crocheting. The widow of Melton R. Sanborn, who died in 1998, she is survived by four daughters, Jean Kerr of Yuma, Ariz., Barbara Byrne of North Danville, Sylvia Milbury of New River, Ariz., and Dotty S. Emilio of East Kingston; one son, Butch Sanborn of Raymond; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Muriel Sanborn. Burial services will be held Sunday, June 1, at 2 p.m. in Old Meetinghouse Cemetery, Danville. Walton W. St. John HAMPSTEAD - Walton W. "Wally" St. John, 60, of East Hampstead, died Tuesday, May 27, 2003, in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, following a brief illness. He was born in Haverhill, Mass., and was educated in Haverhill schools and Pinkerton Academy in Derry. Mr. St. John was an equipment operator for Covanta in Ward Hill, Mass., for the past 12 years. He had previously been employed as a production supervisor at the Coca-Cola Bottling Plant in Salem for 28 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Dooley) St. John; one son and his wife, Walton W. "Wally" and Laurie St. John of Hampstead; two grandchildren; one brother, William St. John of Haverhill; one aunt; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. Burial will be in West Hampstead Cemetery.
