Kanaly CENTERVILLE, Mass. - Mary Virginia (Breen) Kanaly, formerly of Kingston, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, at her home. She was born Sept. 1, 1917, in Cambridge, Mass., and resided in Belmont, Mass., before retiring to Kingston. She had resided in Rockingham County Nursing Home, Brentwood, before moving to Centerville last fall. Mrs. Kanaly was the librarian in Kingston and served as the county clerk and did trust and estate work for a local law office. She was previously the head of the trust department at Harvard Trust Co., in their Cambridge office. She was active in many local organizations, notably the Kingston First Congregational Church where she contributed many baked goods for many worthy causes. She and her late husband Paul took great interest in the track team at Sanborn Academy and attended many of their events. She enjoyed her family and was an animal lover. She is survived by two sisters, Annette Dowd of Osterville, Mass., and Betty Cosgrove of St. Louis, Mo.; and three nephews and five nieces. She was predeceased by her first husband, Charles Morse, who died in 1964, and her second husband, Paul Kanaly, who died in 2001. Private services will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Kingston. Memorial donations may be made to the Kingston First Congregational Church or to a local no kill animal shelter. Arrangements are by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter. Mary F. Nadeau RAYMOND - Mary F. Nadeau, 94, of Lisa Avenue, died Tuesday, June 17, 2003, in Exeter after a period of failing health. She was born May 17, 1909, in Lynn, Mass., the daughter of the late John and Anne (Mulligan) Walsh. She was a longtime resident of Lynn and had resided in Kingston for 13 years before moving to Raymond. The widow of Joseph P. Nadeau, who died in 1989, she is survived by one son, Richard J. Nadeau of Raymond; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one daughter, Ann V. Shynk; five sisters, Agnes Goff, Isabell Walsh, Dorothy Smith, and Josephine Cuthbert and Marguerite Young; and three brothers, Jon Walsh, Francis Walsh and Philip Walsh. She was the first cousin of Tom Costin, former mayor of Lynn, former U.S. Post Master General and former presisent of the NRA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Route 27, Epping, with the Rev. Michael Taylor as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping. Arrangements are by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Raymond. Joyce N. Coburn HAMPTON - Joyce N. Coburn, 59, of 495 Exeter Road, died Monday, June 16, 2003, in Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston. She was born Jan. 9, 1944, in Nashua, the daughter of the late Edmund J. and Irene L. (Cote) Winn, and had resided in Hampton since 1975. She was a graduate of Mount St. Mary High School, Nashua. Mrs. Coburn was the office manager for the late Dr. Bernard Frimm in Hampton. She had previously been the office manager for Dr. Marcotte in Nashua. She was an active member of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Parish where she served as a Eucharistic minister and was a member of the Catholic Women’s Club. She was involved in the Stephen Ministry serving as a co-leader since 1996. She received her training in California and continued her education by attending many professional conferences and workshops over the years related to the ministry. Mrs. Coburn and her husband were involved with Toward Marriage, a program that counseled couples preparing for marriage and she was an active volunteer in area nursing homes. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, George F. Coburn; two sons, Sean E. Coburn and his wife Kelly of Raymond and Eric G. Coburn of Portland, Ore.; two grandchildren; and one sister, Sr. Joan Winn, R.S.M. of Concord. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton. Burial will be in High Street Cemetery, Hampton. Hanoonah-Theriault RAYMOND - Nyckole Louise Hanoonah-Theriault, (Erin Louise Turner), 19, died Wednesday, June 11, 2003, in a local hospital following a sudden illness. She was born Sept. 2, 1983, in Manchester, the daughter of Steven J. Turner and Tammy Louise Davis. She was home schooled during her high school years and completed an accelerated course for computer Web design in 2½ years. She won a national choral society award at Deerfield Community School. Mrs. Hanoonah-Theriault had designed web pages and was a writer of musical lyrics, poems and short stories. She aspired to be a singer and had planned to attend New Hampshire Community Technical College at Manchester. She loved cats and swimming. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Theriault of Manchester; her parents, Steven J. Turner of Deerfield and Tammy Louise Davis of Raymond; one sister, Holly P. McNeil of Virginia Beach, VA.; one brother, Cory J. Turner of Deerfield; her maternal grandfather, Don Davis of Raymond; her maternal grandmother, Brenda L. Jarvis of Manchester; her paternal grandparents, Carol and Jim Turner of Edgewater, Fla.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services were held Monday in the Goodwin Funeral Home, Manchester. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
