Ernest Emery FREMONT - Ernest "Elliott" Emery, 67, of Main Street, died Friday, June 20, 2003, at his home after a period of failing health. He was born April 21, 1936, in Lynn, Mass., the son of the late Charles and Annie (McLeod) Emery, and was a longtime resident of Fremont. Mr. Emery was an auto mechanic at I.C. Reed in Raymond for 18 years. He was a former member of Peoples United Methodist Church, Fremont, and was an avid Dale Earnhardt racing fan. He is survived by his wife, Marcia (Copp) Emery of Fremont; five daughters, Peggy Turner of Raymond, Paula Boutin of Benton, Pamela Paige of Fremont, Patty Emery of Franklin and Billie-Jo Blake of Raymond; two sons, Michael Emery of Fremont and Mark Emery of Pinckney, Mich.; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Charla Brown of Sandown; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held Monday in Peoples United Methodist Church, Fremont. Burial was in Village Cemetery, Fremont. Arthur J. Robidoux PLAISTOW - Arthur J. Robidoux, 81, of Buttonwoods Farm Road, died Friday, June 20, 2003, at his home. He was born in Southbridge, Mass., and had resided in Plaistow since 1948. He was a 1940 graduate of Charlton High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving as a machinist mate first class aboard the USS Franklin and the USS Albermarle. Mr. Robidoux was employed by the U.S. Postal Service as a rural carrier in the Plaistow post office and later was a bus driver for Timberlane Regional School District. He was an assistant baseball coach for the Plaistow Little League for many years and had served as the town’s building inspector. He was a member of Holy Angels Church in Plaistow and was a former member of the church choir. He was a member of C.V. 13, the Carl Davis Post of the American Legion of Plaistow, where he had served for several years as the service officer; a life member of the National Veteran of Foreign Wars; and the Holiday Ramblers RV Club of New Hampshire. He was an avid bowler and member of several area bowling leagues. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mildred B. (Lang) Robidoux; one son, Richard A. Robidoux and his companion, Cecilia Blake of Friendship, Maine; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Barbara A. Robidoux of Sante Fe., N.M., Louise F. and George Comeau of Plaistow, Deborah and Mario Pinheiro and Nancy M. and James "Phil" Murphy, all of Atkinson, nine grandchildren; two brothers, Armand Robidoux of Oviedo, Fla., and David Robidoux of Lakeside, Calif.; five sisters, Claire Sands of Meridian, Idaho, Mildred Silbaugh of Huron, Ohio, Muriel Horansky of Midlothian, Va., and Evelyn Burns and Dorothy Paul, both of Dudley, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Tuesday in Holy Angels Church, Plaistow. Burial was in Holy Angels Cemetery. Arrangements were by Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow. Charles L. Stracke RAYMOND - Charles L. Stracke, 57, of Blueberry Hill Road, died Monday, June 23, 2003, in Elliot Hospital, Manchester. He was born Oct. 1, 1945, in Bay Shore, N.Y., the son of Charles J. Stracke of Dania, Fla., and Carolyn Stracke of Wilmington, N.C. He was a highly decorated U.S. Navy veteran for 20 years, serving in the Korean War and three tours in Vietnam. Mr. Stracke was a machinist for Foss Manufacturing, Hampton, since 1987. He was a member of the Richard A. Mitchell Post 51 American Legion in Epping, and enjoyed building cars and working on engines. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 23 years, Donna L. (Morrill) Stracke of Raymond; one son, David Stracke of Roanoke, Va.; one daughter, Andrea Smith-Arevalo of Huntsville, Ala.; two stepdaughters, Ann Roman and Michelle Eaton, both of Raymond; one stepson, Matthew Sweeney of Manchester; six grandchildren; two sisters, Cheryl Collins of East Hampton and Cindy Lafleur of Wilmington, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Raymond Congregational Church, Church Street, Raymond, with the Rev. Neil Iverson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032.
