Kinsella NEWTON - Marcelle C. Kinsella, 88, of Maple Avenue, died Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at Exeter Healthcare. She was born Sept. 3, 1914, in Canada, the daughter of the late Emile and Eva (Lacaillade) Garneau. She was raised in Lawrence, Mass., and had resided in Newton for 21 years. She graduated from Lawrence schools. Mrs. Kinsella worked for Andover, Mass., companies for more than 20 years, retiring in 1980. She was a longtime active member of St. Augustine Church in Lawrence and was involved with the First Christian Church in Newton. She was a member of the Sewing and Quilting Group and of the Silver Tops in Newton. She enjoyed raising her grandchildren, playing cards and reading. The widow of John R. Kinsella, who died in 1987, she is survived by three daughters and their husbands, Celeste and Steve Barlow of Newton, with whom she made her home, Rayma and Mark Griffin of Greenwich, Conn., and Anne and John Vessey of Christiansburg, Va.; one son and his wife, Richard and Pat Kinsella of Barrington, R.I.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son, Kevin P. Kinsella, who died in 1953. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter, with the Rev. Wendall Irvine officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the N.H. SPCA, P.O. Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885 or to the charity of one’s choice.
