WILLIAM CHAMBERLAIN William C. "Willy" Chamber-lain, 52, of Lyndeborough, died on October 19, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Nashua. Born on January 30, 1952 in West Stewartstown, he was the son Audrey E. (Hilliard) Chamberlain of Milford and the late William A. Chamberlain. Mr. Chamberlain was a graduate of Milford High School, class of 1970. He had been a resident of Milford and the surrounding towns for many years. He had been employed as a welder for East Coast Steel in Greenfield for many years, and more recently had worked at Gosslin Steel, Auburn. Mr. Chamberlain enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his mother, the family includes two sons, Todd Chamberlain of Gonic and Toby Chamberlain of Goffstown; a daughter, Shannon Chamberlain of Milford; a grandson; a sister, Penny Ann Chamberlain of Nashua; 10 brothers, Dennis G. Chamberlain, Bradford O., Michael J. and Gary C., all of Florida, Craig W. of Laconia, Stephen G. of Lyndeborough, Curtis W. of Wilton, Barry H. and Jeffrey A., both of Milford, Vincent P. of Brookline; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours were held on Thursday at Smith & Heald Funeral Home in Milford. Funeral services were on Friday in the funeral home. SYLVIA ROGERS Sylvia May Tilton Rogers, 62, of New Cuyama, Calif. died from cancer at Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, Calif., on September 2, 2004. Sylvia May was born on May 16, 1942 in West Stewartstown to Earl and Harriet Tilton. She grew up in Littleton and was graduated from Littleton High School in 1960. Her classmates remember Sylvia for contributing her artistic talents to the winter carnivals, proms and floats. During her last visit to her Littleton home in July 2003, she greatly enjoyed being with her family and her lifelong friends. Sylvia was a registered tax preparer and notary in the state of California. She served as the New Cuyama Methodist Church organist for the last 15 years. Her varied interests included genealogy, music, reading, painting and being with her children and grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered as a quiet caregiver to all those who came to know her. Sylvia is survived by her mother, Harriet Tilton Eoute, of Littleton; her husband, David Rogers, of New Cuyama; her daughter, Sonia Morang Vanous, of Orlando, Fla.; three sons, Kenneth Morang Jr., Bradley Morang and David Russell, all of California; four grandchildren from California; three brothers, Larry Tilton of North Attleboro, Mass., Robert Tilton of Long Island, N.Y. and Earl Tilton Jr. of Littleton; her sister, Nancy Tilton Spencer, of Littleton; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Her father, Earl R. Tilton Sr., and her half-sisters, Earlene Tilton and Lorraine Tilton Henderson, predeceased her. A memorial service was held on September 8 at the New Cuyama Methodist Church.
